I'm having a hard time reconciling the following:

Life is what you make of it. You have to choose to be things. To be happy, to be upset, to be content, to be pissed off.

I believe in the magic and authority of words. I believe in everything. I believe that the world in my head is no less important than the real world.

You have to live in the present. There is no sense in waiting for things to get exciting, you have to have your feet rooted in there here and now, and you have to MAKE those moments.

So then... what all of this adds up to is my being mentally unbalanced but telling myself that I have to pull that imbalance out of my head and into my everyday life.

This is troublesome.
